Philosophy

• Every horses situation should be assessed individually to provide a hoof care solution just for that horse - whatever that may be.  The same horse living under different circumstances will often require a completely different hoof care solution.
• From the most demanding of equine sports - to the most leisurely of recreational activities, maintaining high-quality high-performance highly-functional hooves is one of the keys to a stress free healthy equine life.

Training and Work Experience

A second generation farrier - Josh Emsley had the benefit of starting his farrier training as a young boy.  Growing up with a professional farrier / teacher of farriery as a father, Josh started learning the ins and outs by the time he was old enough to walk.  By the age of 13 Josh was nailing a complete shoe setting, guided of course by his father.  Josh has had the benefit of evaluating and treating many thousands of horses over the years, giving him a true insight into the equine hoof.

Current Focus
